Tightly contested outdoor bowls finals weekend at BG

A sunny Super Saturday featured the championship finals for the Men's, Ladies', and Veterans' categories, as well as the 2 woods, Fixed Jack, and Aussie Pairs events.

Close games, some excellent "game-changing" woods, added to an action-packed first day.

The Franklands triumphed over Steve A and "super sub" Keith in the Aussie Pairs.

Michael G secured his first trophy of the weekend in the Vets against Andy M.

Angela F demonstrated her excellent 2-wood skills to defeat her husband!

Michael G claimed his second trophy of the weekend beating Hassan to win the Fixed Jack.

Debbie B secured the win in the Ladies' championship following a tightly contested match against Pam H, with both competitors battling until the final moments.

Ian E claimed victory over newcomer Billy B in the Mens' Championship in a thrilling match that was decided by the final wood!
