Bounds Green all set for Mixed Finals Day

After some nailbiting semifinals, the Finals Day Order of Play has been set. The main draw will see a repeat of the 2024 Final, with defending champions Renée & Mike facing Asha & Danny. Asha & Danny overcame Liz & Hernan 6-4 6-4, battling extremely windy conditions. Meanwhile in the other semifinal Renée & Mike defeated Ros & Phil 6-3 6-2. Both Asha and Renée have the opportunity to do a Bounds Green double, with Asha having won this year's Women's Singles and Renée having won the Women's Doubles.

The Plate Final sees Emma & Steve do battle against Cassie & Roberto. Emma & Steve defeated Karen & Steve 6-2 6-4, while Cassie & Roberto survived their secomnd successive match tiebreak, edging out last year's Plate finalists Mandy & Kenny 6-3 4-6 10-2. Steve will be bidding for the first ever Bounds Green Plate double, having recently scooped the Men's Doubles Plate alongside partner Larry.

Finals Day will also see the culmination of our post-match selfie competition, Who Posed It Best? The club has come alive with some amazing, creative and - frankly - bizarre post-match poses. Now you get to decide on your favourite. There is still time to vote here.
