SAFEGUARDING, DIVERSITY & INCLUSION
The club is committed to ensuring a safe and friendly environment for everyone to enjoy their sport. We particularly want to safeguard children and vulnerable adults, and ensure the club gives equal rights to everyone.

Our policies on diversity and inclusion and on safeguarding are set out below, covering the tennis and bowls sections. They can be summarised as:

-
The safety and welfare of children and adults at risk is paramount and this applies regardless of age, disability, gender, race etc.
-
Safeguarding is everybody’s responsibility
-
All safeguarding concerns or allegations will be taken seriously and responded to swiftly and appropriately
-
We strive to create a culture and environment where everyone is empowered to protect themselves and others and feels able to raise concerns
-
We actively promote working together to ensure all children and adults at risk are safeguarded.

If anyone has any concerns or sees any behaviour that they consider unacceptable or questionable, please tell the club’s safeguarding officer, Jane O’Neill (020 8888 3889) or, in an emergency, phone the police.
