One Point Slam comes to Bounds Green!

The fun starts at 1.30pm on Sunday 19 April

Winner takes all.

Do you think you have what it takes to beat all-comers when everything rides on one point? Here’s your opportunity to prove it. Entry costs £2 and you can register here.

The rules are simple:

• Any member can enter

• There is a random draw with no seedings

• Play Rock, Paper, Scissors to decide who serves

• Then one point decides it all

• The winner goes through, the loser eats cake

To level the playing field even further, men who have played in Team 1 or Team 2 in 2025 or 2026 will only get one serve. Who is going to be the first to hit a single fault?

With both James and Roberto already signed up to play and joining team members, top juniors and club legends, it is set to be an all-star field.

Whoever battles their way through the tournament could win some stellar prizes:

• The winner gets a  private lesson from James

• The runner-up gets a bar voucher to help them drown their sorrows

• The junior who makes it the furthest will also win a prize
