Mixed Doubles field set

Bounds Green is all set for an epic Mixed Doubles tournament, with the largest field in memory. In total, 27 pairs will battle it out to make it to Finals Day.

There are a number of well-established pairings, including two-time defending champions Renée & Mike, 2024 finalists Asha & Danny, 2023 finalists Helen & Francois, 2025 semifinalists Ana & Jack, as well as tournament stalwarts Katie & Chan and Ann & Richard. Former winners Barbara & Ian will be in it to win it and past champions Jane O'Neill & Perri are also making a surprise return to the fray after several years out.

There are also some exciting new partnerships. Ros & Phil will be contenders, Hernan teams up with Liz, new members Angela & Larry are teaming up and Beth & Sammy will be looking to make a deep run. Finally, Cassie & coach Roberto are sure to draw the crowds for their matches.

The format will see a stage with eight groups, all named after legendary tennis players who have yet to grace the Bounds Green courts:

1) Group Sabalenka

2) Group Williams

3) Group Swiatek

4) Group Graff

5) Group Sinner

6) Group Alcaraz

7) Group Federer

8) Group Nadal

The winner from each group will progress to the knockout stage. Every other pair will qualify for the Plate competition - back after a successful debut in 2025.

The draw for the tournament will take place in the Bar at 9.30pm on Thursday 4 June. Come along and join in the fun!
