Bounds Green hosts suspenseful Middlesex county quarter and semi finals

Bounds Green Bowls Club held another thrilling weekend of Middlesex County quarter and semi-finals for both the Men's and Ladies' competitions.

We were fortunate to have sunshine for most of the day and a steady stream of delicious bacon sandwiches from the kitchen.

Our Bounds Green Men's team made us proud with their valiant effort against Ashford in the semi-final. They delivered an intense 18 ends, eventually pushing the match to an extra end where Ashford emerged victorious.

Congratulations to all the participants and winners who will be going to Royal Leamington Spa later this year - best of luck to them in the finals!
